RULES
The regatta will be governed by the ICSA
Procedural Rules (Fall 2001-Spring 2005), the ISSA Procedural Rules
(as modified by the PCISA), the 2001-2004 Racing Rules of Sailing, the
prescriptions of US Sailing and by the Sailing Instructions. On the
water judges may be present.
FORMAT & ELIGIBILITY
The regatta will be sailed in two fleets: a
gold and a silver feet, each fleet with an A division and a B
division. Fleet allocation will be done by PCISA.
BOATS
Each team is responsible for providing one class legal CFJ. Sails will
be provided by PCISA. All boats will be entered in a round robin
format. CSUMB has a few boats for charter, contact Frank Degnan,

ENTRY
The entry form must be completed and returned to Wendy Ward by 5:00 pm
Wednesday, October 15, 2003 (wardrw@redshift.com
or fax 831-659-2401). Entry fees may be paid at the time of
registration on Saturday, October 18 provided the Entry Form was
received by 5:00 pm October 15, 2003.
ENTRY FEE
$100 per team. Entry fee includes 4 Saturday
lunches, 4 Saturday dinners, 4 Sunday breakfasts and 4 Sunday lunches.
Additional four-meal packages are available for $20.00. Make checks
payable to MPYC.
SKIPPERS MEETING AND SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Skippers meetings will be held at 1000 on
Saturday and 1030 on Sunday. Sailing Instructions will be available at
registration.
SAILING AREA
The sailing area will be approximately 1
mile WNW to NNW from the beach clear of moorings and harbor, fishing
and diving traffic.
DECISIONS OF THE JURY
Decisions of the jury will be final in
accordance with RRS Rule 70.4.
TROPHIES
Trophies will be awarded to teams placing 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd in each fleet.
COACHING
All coaching will be done from the beach
adjacent to Municipal Wharf #2. Any spectators on the water will stay
on the port side of the course and shall have no contact with any
competitor except when rendering assistance under RRS Rule 1.1, or
as directed by the Race Committee.
HOUSING
Teams and an adult chaperone may stay in the
