RULES
The regatta will be governed by the 2001-2004 Racing Rule of
Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of US SAILING, and the Team Racing
Rules (Appendix D), and by the current amended ISSA rules except as
any of these are altered by this Notice of Race or by the Sailing
instructions.
REGISTRATION
Completed entry forms (see attached) are due no later than
April 9 , 2004. Send via fax 650-854-1048 or email at hiker4u@aol.com.
AFTER APRIL 9, THE REGATTA WILL BE CLOSED.
Entry fee $20 per competitor ($120 per team)
payable to the Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation, may be paid
at check in Sat. morning. Includes dinner your choice of Leather,
Feather or Fin (Steak, Chicken or Salmon) salad and desert for 6
sailors.
Format & Eligibility. One team (consisting of
skippers and crew for three boats) may enter from each PCISA member
school.
"Subject to weather conditions, competitors will engage in a
continuous round robin with a possible final four. There is no limit
to the number of races."
COURSES:
Courses shall consist of Digital "N" along with a triangle and a
reverse "N."
BOATS
The Regatta will sailed in CFJs and at R.C. discretion 420s. Boats
will be provided. A (boat damage deposit) check in the amount $250
will be required. It will be returned after boat inspection on
Sunday.
FOOD:
A full Dinner is included. Lunches and Breakfast will not be included
but will be available.

Saturday, April 24
9:00 a.m. Registration & boat assembly (@ public launch)
10:00 a.m. Competitor’s Meeting (@ public launch)
11:00 a.m. Racing begins.
Sunday, April 25
10:00 a.m. Brief Skipper’s Meeting (public launch)
10:30 a.m. Racing Begins
3:30 p.m. No race started after 3:30 p.m.
4:30 p.m. Awards presentation
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing Instructions
will be available upon registration at the public launch.
SCORING
Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix D, except as modified
by the Sailing Instructions.
COACHING
Coaching will be allowed between races, off the water only.
PROTESTS
Races will be officiated by the competitors and by on-the-water
judging by selected regatta personnel.
Protests not covered by competitor exoneration or
by on-the-water judging will be heard as soon as possible by a judge
or committee of coaches.
