2. DATE AND VENUE—Saturday and Sunday, December 7/8, 2002 at The San Francisco Yacht Club, 98 Beach Road, Belvedere, California

4. RULES—The regatta will be governed by Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS 2001-2004), the prescriptions of US SAILING, the ISSA Procedural Rules (as modified by the PCISA), the rules of the CFJ Class (except those rules regarding class membership), by this Notice of Race and by the Sailing Instructions.

5. ENTRY—For early registration discount, entry form must be received at The San Francisco Yacht Club on or before Saturday December 2, 2002. Send to: The San Francisco Yacht Club, Attention: Quentin Pollock, P.O. Box 379, Belvedere, CA 94920

6. FEES—Entry fee is $20.00 per sailor if entry is received on or before Saturday December 2, 2002 and $25.00 per sailor after that date. Entry fee includes lunch both Saturday and Sunday.

7. FORMAT AND ELIGIBILITY— Multiple races both Saturday and Sunday. Any sailor from any eligible PCISA member school may participate. Schools must be registered with PCISA/ISSA in order to compete.

8. BOATS—Competitors must bring their own boats, rigs, sails, etc. All boats and sails will be inspected to make sure they are "race worthy". (Please, no beaters). It is unlikely that any boats will be available for charter. Please contact Quentin Pollock if you wish to charter a boat. No one shall borrow or exchange equipment among boats without the permission of the boat owner.

9. MEDICAL RELEASE/CONSENT FORM—The entry form, and a parent consent/waiver of liability and medical release form must be completed for each competitor prior to competing. No competitor will be allowed on the water without these forms.

10. HOUSING—Limited housing may be available for out-of-area sailors. An adult coach or chaperone must accompany all sailors requesting housing. The housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis based on completed registration forms received via fax or regular mail. For more information, contact Quentin Pollock.

11. SAILING AREA—The sailing area will be the Belvedere Cove or Richardson’s Bay on San Francisco Bay. This may, at the sole discretion of the Race Committee, be changed to reflect wind and weather conditions.

12. JUDGING/PROTESTS—Judges may be on the water. If so, they will act in accordance with ISSA Procedural Rules Appendix 4. Protests will be handled in accordance with ISSA Procedural Rule #16. Jury will hear all protests on the water or in a designated location determined by the Race Committee.

13. COACHING—ISSA Procedural Rule #8 "COACHING" shall apply, except when rendering assistance under RRS Rule 1.1 "Helping those in Danger".
