Hosts: Sequoia Yacht Club, High School Sailing,, Stanford U.
and the Port of Redwood City
Venue: The regatta will be sailed in PCISA Flying Juniors in
the Turning Basin at the Port of Redwood City, CA. Boats will be
launched at the Public Ramp at the end of Chesapeake Blvd. All boats
will be kept in the water Saturday night at Sequoia Yacht Club docks.
Boats will be inspected prior to Launching.

0800-0930 Breakfast at SYC

Registration: All Teams must pre-register both Gold & Silver
Teams by Wednesday February 20th at 6pm. On-site registration will be
held at the Public Ramp. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for late
Registration forms. This fee is to encourage you to get the Registration
form to us on time. Fees may be paid on the 23rd with no penalty if your
forms are in by Feb.20
Fees: Entry Fee of $ 80.00 includes entry in addition to 1 Dinner
and 1 Breakfast for four competitors. Checks should be made payable to
Stanford University. Additional meal tickets may be purchased via
pre-registration at a price of $6 for Dinner and $5 for breakfast. A
barbecue lunch will be available.
Format: Gold Fleet will consist of A & B Divisions in accordance
with ISSA and PCISA Regulations. Silver Fleet and JV will consist of A &
B Divisions. Round robin rotation system will be used, using the rules
of the Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA) except as modified by
the Sailing instructions. Each team shall consist of two skippers and
two crews, plus alternates if desired.
Boats: Club/Collegiate FJs will be supplied by each school, PCISA
sails will be supplied to Gold Fleet. Silver Fleet should bring their
own sails in the event that there are not enough PCISA sails to complete
the fleet.
Charters: In addition, 9 boats are available to be chartered by
Stanford. Please contact Amy Gross

Safety: It is recommended that all competitors wear wet suits or
dry suits. U.S. Coast Guard approved PFDs shall be worn at all times on
the water. If the Race committee or Jury determines that any competitor
is not experienced enough for the conditions, or not wearing sufficient
apparel for the conditions, and their safety is jeopardized as a result,
those competitors may be required to return to shore.
Housing/Food: A list of some area hotels is available. A barbeque
lunch will be available.
Dinner and Breakfast are included with registration.
Directions: From Hwy. 101 in Redwood City, take the Woodside
Road/Seaport Blvd. exit. Go East on Seaport Blvd. Follow approximately
1/2 mile. Turn left on Chesapeake at stop light. Follow to end, public
ramp is on the right, rigging and parking on the left. Do not block the
ramp while rigging.
