RULES |
| 1.1 |
The regatta will be governed by the
Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) for 2001-2004, the prescriptions of US
SAILING, the ISSA Procedural rules, PCISA rules, the rules of the
CFJ Class; and this Notice of Race (except as any of these are
changed by the Sailing Instructions); and by the Sailing
Instructions. |
| 1.2 |
Each boat will be given a PCISA sail
with designated numbers. |
| 1.3 |
Each boat must display CF numbers and
a current year sticker. Boats without a current valid registration
will not be allowed in the rotation and the team supplying the boat
will be unable to sail. |

ELIGIBILITY,
ENTRY & ENTRY FEE |
| 2.1 |
The regatta is open to current members
of the PCISA. Eligible teams may enter by filing an entry with NHYC
by Tuesday, December 4, 2001 (postmark). Late entries may be
accepted at the discretion of the Race Committee. |
| 2.2 |
An entry fee of $25 per team will
apply. After December 4 the entry fee will be $35 per team. |
| 2.3 |
Eligible PCISA schools may enter one
varsity team (A & B division). JV teams from eligible schools may be
entered only when pre-approved by the PCISA. For JV team approval
contact Tim Hogan at (714) 434-4400. |

FORMAT AND
BOATS |
| 3.1 |
The regatta will be sailed in two
divisions. The PCISA will seed entries into a gold division and a
silver division. |
| 3.2 |
Each team is responsible for providing
one class legal CFJ with current valid registration stickers, and
one class legal set of sails (main & jib). All boats will be entered
into a round robin format within the division in which the team is
sailing. |

upon registration at NHYC. |

The racing area will be in the turning
basin off NHYC. |

SCORING |
| 7.1 |
The Low-point scoring system, of
Appendix A, will apply, with one full rotation scheduled of which 3
races in each division must be completed to constitute a series.
Each yachts score will be the sum of her score for all races. |

TROPHIES |
| 8.1 |
Trophies will be awarded to skipper
and crew placing 1st through 5th as soon as possible after the last
race. |
| 9. |
LUNCH
|
| 9.1 |
Box lunches will be available at $6.00
per person and must be pre-ordered by December 4, 2001. Lunch
includes a sandwich, drink, fruit, cookie or candy bar. |
| 10. |
HOUSING |
| 10.1 |
Limited housing will be available on a
first come first serve basis to the teams traveling the greatest
