 RULES

The regatta will be governed by the revised 1997-2000 Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of US SAILING, the ISSA Procedural Rules. The PCISA Supplemental Rules, this Notice of Race (except as changed by the Sailing Instructions), and the Sailing Instructions.This regatta will determine 3 of 4 Sailors who will represent PCISA at the Cressy Finals to be held in Seattle, October 28-29, 2000.Competing boats must comply with ILCA Rules, except for rules: (4) Sail Registration numbers; (9) Class Membership; and (7d) Sails.

 ELIGIBILITY

Competition open to academically eligible full-time students, 9th-12th grade, of an ISSA recognized school.Competitors must complete Registration prior to 10:30 AM on Saturday September 30, at Coronado Yacht Club.

 ENTRY/ENTRY FEES

Registration opens at CYC at 9AM on Saturday, September 30, and closes at 10:30 AM.An entry of $10 shall be paid at Registration.

BOATS

Competitors must bring their own Laser (Class legal) and related equipment.

 RACING AREA

The racing area will be in South San Diego Bay.

 SCORING

The Low Point Scoring System (APPENDIX A, RRS) will be used for the event.

 HOUSING

Sailors are responsible for their own housing.  Go to WWW.crowncity.com to see Hotel listings.

 COACHING

Any communication or coaching must take place in an area designated by the Race Committee. No competitor shall receive outside assistance or coaching

from the Warning Signal (10-Minute Signal) until having crossed, cleared the finishing line and in the designated area.

 AWARDS

Awards will be presented to the top five competitors, of which, the top three earn the right to represent PCISA at the High School Cressy Finals, to be held in Seattle, October 28-29.
